This mural was commissioned by the Ionad Culthúrtha Bailemhuirne Co. Cork to commemorate the renowned sean nos singer Diarmuid Ó Suilleabháin. The Ionad hosts Éigse Dhiarmuid Uí Suilleabháin a weekend of music and song to celebrate his influence on Irish music culture. This is one of three murals on this building celebrating local people and events.
